I take advantage of the mention in your sig...
- the English for "moderateur" is moderator
- the correct sentence "is you are now a moderator", as you wrote it in the next sentence
- the right spelling is improve
- I don't know about statistics but I guess the trend is to get rid of "to" and write "help us improve our English".
Regarding her kangaroo avatar, let's see if Krystyna will dare complain but...

- I don't know what Krystyna will say but I would just like to state Americans use less the present perfect tense than the Brits and they'd prefer the past (preterit): changed, did you noteMurielB a écrit:Hi Krystyna
I Hope you don't mind Florent has changed your Avatar. sometimes he is a bit straightforward. He likes your photo so much !
I am pleased you are now " moderateur" because I do want to know more about your culture.
Florent, have you noted that Krystyna is now a moderateur ? She can help us improve our english

Re: Alzheimer's Disease
Hi everyone,
To Muriel and Gérard,
Thank you for my "promotion" to moderator.
I will try my best to have you all speaking like "true-blue dinky-di" Australians !
Hum, I wonder if you will find the meaning of this expression ?
To Florent,
Do you think I am prettier than the kangaroo ?
It's okay to have my original avatar.
No worries, mate !
Muriel says you are straightforward ... this is good, it is a trait that we Polish excel at !

A nice story about Alsheimer Disease
I have got a nice story for you about Alzheimer's Disease. This joke was read in The Language Club of Westchester.
In an old people's home, an old man is madly in love with a widow . One day, he takes his courage in both hands and asks if he can marry her. She enthusiastically accepts.
The next day the old man gives her a ring
" What I have to tell you is extremely annoying. Yesterday, I proposed marriage to you but I can't remember if you answered yes or no"
"You did the right thing to call me, I remember saying yes but I don't remember to whom .
