Exhibition Claude Monet, in Paris Le Grand Palais

On the occasion of the present Exhibition of Monet's paintings in Paris, I do not resist in conveying to you a
means to remember easily what characterizes the Impressionists.

You say "ELBOW", and you mean :

EBERYDAY LIFE, BRUSH (= strokes of paint), OUTER SPACE, and WATER.

So you need all these elements to consider a painting made by one of the Impressionists.

This was given to me, as a visitor to the Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia, last summer.

According to the web, Barnes Foundation is settled in Philadelphia. It contains 181 masterpieces of Renoir, 69 Cézanne, 59 Matisse and a lot of beautiful paintings of XIXth, XXth century and even earlier. A unique collection
